A Mission Born from Family

I witnessed firsthand how my grandfather suffered the disabling toll of diabetes — uncertainty,
escalating insulin doses, painful foot ulcers, and the despair as complications set in.
The experience left an indelible mark and set the direction for my medical career.

"Help people with diabetes break free from the fear of
complications and reclaim a healthy, confident life."

Early Leadership in Diabetes Advocacy

During my medical studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), I took my first step in diabetes advocacy — founding and organising AMSA Diabetes Day, a student-led initiative to raise public awareness, provide education, and encourage early intervention.

The Paradigm That Changed Everything

During my service in a government hospital, I repeatedly saw
the same painful pattern: patients often arrived only after
damage was done — kidney disease, vascular complications.
This reinforced the need for a proactive, comprehensive
approach including wound and nerve assessment.
